Breguet Classique Souscription arrives in platinum

What’s new

  • Classique Souscription now in 950 platinum, reference 2026PT/28/9W6
  • Blue petit feu enamel for the Breguet logo, Arabic numerals and minute track
  • Navy blue large-scaled alligator strap with platinum pin buckle
  • Priced at CHF 58,000 or EUR 68,000

Breguet has brought its Classique Souscription back, this time in 950 platinum. It is a single-hand watch inspired by the Souscription pocket watch, which won the GPHG 2025, and the platinum version is identical to the 2025 gold edition in its technical aspects.

The case measures 40mm across and 10.8mm thick. It is built in the classic three parts, with the lugs integrated into the middle and finely brushed sides. The bezel is polished and domed, and the sapphire crystal above the dial has a chevé profile. On the back, another sapphire crystal sits inside a Quai de l’Horloge guilloché motif.

The gold base dial is covered in white grand feu enamel. Where the gold edition used black, here the Breguet logo, the Arabic numerals and the minute track are done in blue petit feu enamel. The single steel hand has an open tip, is flame-blued and is curved by hand. The diamond-point pantograph signature sits at 6 o’clock.

Inside is the in-house hand-wound calibre VS00. A large central ratchet and an oversized triangular bridge dominate the layout, joined by two stepped bridges and two smaller triangular ones. The movement is finished in gilded brass in the shade of Breguet gold, with a shot-blasted finish on the plate and bridges. It runs at 3Hz, carries a Nivachron hairspring with Breguet overcoil, and stores 96 hours of power. The wheels keep the classic Breguet five-spoke form.

The watch comes on a navy blue large-scaled alligator strap with a platinum pin buckle. Reference 2026PT/28/9W6 is priced at CHF 58,000 or EUR 68,000, taxes included. The 2025 gold model now costs EUR 57,000 or CHF 48,200, up from EUR 53,800 or CHF 45,000 at its introduction.
