Piaget has added a second limited edition to its Andy Warhol collection, the Andy Warhol Camouflage. It follows last year’s Andy Warhol Collage and reinterprets the late self-portraits Warhol made in 1986.
The dial is built by stone marquetry from 27 individually cut pieces of sodalite and turquoise, set alongside satin-finished yellow gold and polished rose gold. Piaget’s artisans need more than 100 hours to create it. Dauphine-style hands show the hours and minutes, and a discreet Swiss Made mark sits at 6 o’clock, with the logo above centre.
The case is cushion-shaped 18k white gold with a rhodium finish, 45 mm across and 8.08 mm high. It has a recessed crown and stepped gadroons, a sapphire crystal and water resistance of 30 m. The Collage came in yellow gold.

Inside is the in-house self-winding calibre 501P1, based on the ultra-thin 430P and 3.63 mm thick. It beats at 28,800 beats per hour (4 Hz) and holds a 40-hour power reserve. The solid case back is engraved with Warhol’s signature and the individual edition number.
The strap is blue alligator leather with a matching pin buckle. The edition is limited to 86 pieces, echoing the year of the self-portraits, and is available from Piaget boutiques and retailers.
