Nomos has given the Club a larger sibling. The Club 38 has a 38.5mm case and sits alongside the classic 36mm model, which stays in the collection. It joins the permanent line.
The case keeps the familiar look: polished stainless steel, the characteristic lugs and a domed sapphire crystal. It measures 8.4mm high with a closed back, or 8.5mm with the optional sapphire back. Lug to lug it comes to 46.7mm, and water resistance is 100m.
Two dials are offered. The Club 38 (Ref. 769) has a silvery-white galvanised dial with blackened hands filled with red-toned Super-LumiNova and grey Arabic numerals outlined in black. The Club 38 Ruthenium (Ref. 770) has an anthracite, ruthenium-plated galvanised dial with rhodium-plated polished hands. Its hands and numerals carry white Super-LumiNova, the numerals outlined in warm yellow, and the minute track has orange accents.
Inside is calibre DUW 4001, a hand-wound in-house movement based on the Alpha and Peseux 7001 architecture. It has a 53-hour power reserve, a stop-seconds mechanism, the Swing System and a blue balance spring.
Both watches come on 20/18mm Horween Genuine Shell Cordovan straps. Prices start at EUR 1,520 for the silvery-white and EUR 1,560 for the ruthenium. The sapphire back is an optional EUR 220 extra.
