Vacheron Constantin has added a 39mm white gold version of the Patrimony Manual-Winding, reference 1410U/000G-H017. It was shown at Watches and Wonders 2024, when the brand marked the 20th anniversary of the Patrimony collection. The new watch is a millimetre smaller than the 40mm model it follows.
The dial carries a new finish the brand calls old-silver-toned, with a subtly textured sunburst surface. The dial is convex. The hour markers and baton hands are applied pink gold and follow its curve. Around the edge, 48 minute markers are polished 18K gold pearls.
The case is just 7.7mm thick with a 45mm lug-to-lug length. The back is solid white gold instead of sapphire, so it can be engraved. Water resistance is 3 bar (30 m).
Inside is the hand-wound caliber 1440, developed and made by Vacheron Constantin. It has 116 parts and 19 jewels, is 2.6mm thick and beats at 4 Hz, or 28800 vibrations per hour, with a 42-hour power reserve. It carries the Geneva Seal, the Poinçon de Genève, which the Republic and Canton of Geneva introduced in 1886. The finishing includes Côtes de Genève on the bridges, beveled and polished edges, mirror-polished screw heads, gold-filled engravings and perlage on the base plate.
The watch comes on a 20/18mm olive-green alligator strap with a pin buckle styled after the Maltese cross. An azure blue alligator strap is also offered.
A pink gold version, reference 1410U/000R-H018, was also introduced in 2024.
