Hautlence has introduced the Kubera Series 1, the first olive green dial version of its new Kubera family. It carries reference FB60-ST00 and costs CHF 32,900 on the integrated steel bracelet. A Kubera Hybrid Strap with Adaptive Fit System & Clasp is sold separately for CHF 990.

The steel case measures 36mm wide and 11.3mm thick, with a 43.8mm lug-to-lug distance. It has a flat sapphire crystal and is water resistant to 50 meters. The case has a vertical composition, and the integrated bracelet continues the same architectural form, built from stepped geometric layers inspired by Cubism. Three-dimensional labyrinthine grooves run across the case, the bracelet and the dial.

Hours appear in a window at 12 o’clock and change in an instant, and they can jump forwards or backwards when the time is set. The minutes have no markers at all. Instead, a turquoise cursor travels around the edge of the dial, guided by a track hidden beneath the surface. A dedicated gear train drives the peripheral ring that carries it, adding 36 components. The olive green dial is built on two separate levels, with a layered geometric structure and subtle relief.

Inside is the Hautlence caliber B60, an automatic running at 4Hz with at least 70 hours of power reserve. It has an anti-magnetic escapement and can be viewed through the sapphire caseback. The jumping-hour and minute module was developed with Agenhor.

The Kubera Series 1 is not a limited edition, though Hautlence makes only a small quantity each year.
