The BR-05 Chrono Snow Rocket is a tribute to Simon Billy, the French speed skier from Vars, who set a world record of 255.50km/h in 2023. It is limited to 250 pieces.
The dial is white with red and black details, and carries a small seconds at 9 o’clock and a 30-minute chronograph counter at 3 o’clock. Red italicised numerals sit at 12 and 6 o’clock, where most BR-05 Chronos use Arabic numerals. The date has also moved to 6 o’clock, rather than sitting between 4 and 5 as on the other chronographs in the family.
In place of the skeletonised metal hands of regular models, the red hour and minute hands are shaped like elongated competition skis.

The case is 42mm steel and 14.25mm thick, mixing satin-finished and polished surfaces. It has a screw-down crown and water resistance to 100 metres. Turn it over and a red silhouette of a speed skier shows through the sapphire caseback.
Inside is the automatic BR-CAL.326 chronograph movement, based on the Sellita SW510, which follows the Valjoux 7750 architecture. It beats at 28,800 vibrations/hour and holds a 60-hour power reserve. It takes the place of the modular ETA 2894-2 base.
The watch comes on a grooved red rubber strap for EUR 6,900, or on a stainless-steel bracelet for EUR 7,400.
